This recipe is like a version light of the steaks a la criolla, a very typical food here in Uruguay. Then I also put the recipe for these steaks a la criolla, which is very rich and worth trying.
Ingredients: 800g veal cutlets (steaks) buttock, 1 large onion, 2 bell peppers or green peppers, 1 red pepper or red pepper, 4 cloves of garlic, 500g of ripe tomatoes, 1 cup defatted beef broth, 4 tablespoons red wine, 2 bay leaves, 1 teaspoon rosemary, 1 teaspoon thyme, salt and pepper.
process: tiny Chop garlic and onion and peppers cut into julienne (thin strips).
Heat broth, and when a boil, add onions, peppers and garlic. Cover and cook for five minutes.
Degrease the steaks and season with salt and pepper. Incorporate them into the pan and stir to mix well with vegetables. Cook 5 minutes with the pan uncovered.
Peel the tomatoes, remove seeds and chop. Incorporate them into the pan with the wine, bay leaves, rosemary and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
Mix well. Continue cooking for about 20 minutes, uncovered and stirring occasionally. If you want to make money from Wall Street here
